Has anyone used this broker to rent cars in Croatia? They seem legit and all, but after looking closely at reviews online I saw that there are minor issues with local car agencies wanting a huge deposit in case of damages (even after paying in advance for this). Plan is to rent a car in either Rovinj, Pula, or Rijeka and drop it off in Split. If you know of any good local agencies, would be greatly appreciated.

We have rented a car from Economy Car Rental in Croatia for September. We're having it delivered to our hotel in Rovinj and returning it in Dubrovnik. We have used them in the past in other countries with no problem so far. Economy Car Rental, as with many rental companies, provides CDW but the renter is responsible for the deductible. Some of the local agencies just remind you of that fact while others may place a hold on your credit card for some amount until the car is returned. We're hoping for a good experience on our Croatia rental!
