10 day itinerary

Hello,
I will be heading to Croatia soon. My itinerary is still fluid but I want to have some flexibility during my trip. I plan on taking the bus between cities with the possibility of renting a car for a day.
Missing any “must see” sites? I have the Rick Steves book and I typically use this with TA as my guide in each location.

Fly into Ljubljana, 3 N, day trip to Lake Bled
Plitvice Park, 1N
Split, 3N, may do a day trip to Hvar
Dubrovnik, 3N, day trip to Mostar, fly out of Dubrovnik

Assuming you have scoped out the transit from Ljubljana to Plitvice, should be fine. That will b a long day but will allow you to see the park in late afternoon and early morning.
I would consider staying the night in Mostar in between Split and Dubrovnik--everyone says it is nice when the day trippers depart, and it is simple by bus.
