Planning a month long trip to relax, would prefer smth closer to the sea and Golden Sands wins out in this regard. But I'm somewhat worried that Golden Sands might not have the necessary facilities. I know both places are very close but I would prefer not to travel every day to Varna for every small thing I may need.

Golden sands will have all necessary facilities so don't worry about that lol its pretty much designed for tourists. I spent a solid month on the black sea and imo the best spots were chernomorets, sozopol, bourgas and varna. The only complaints i had were in varna due to the amount of garbage/pollution in the water but if you drive along the coast you should be able to find smaller cleaner beaches. Sunny beach was fun but only at night. Honestly regardless of where you go youll have a good time, the food is amazing, the rakia is there and the woman are beautiful.
