As a retired but young at heart pensioner i was looking for a reasonably priced holiday to the sun and decided to look at Sunny Beach as I heard the weather can be good and I have never been to that part of the world.
Could I please indulge my fellow travellers with a few questions about the area please ?
First - having a slight problem with my leg I have booked Special Assistance at the airport - I have used this many times at Manchester but wonder what it is like at Bourgas Airport ?
Next having been stuck on an airplane for the Flight from Manchester I don't particularly want to be stuck on a coach doing a trip of all the hotels dropping people off so what is the best was to get to the resort from the airport and what should I be paying please ?
I assume the weather will still be reason on the date I have chosen - I a have booked the second week in September after the kids go back to school so it will be a bit less hassle travelling.
Mobile data - am I bet getting a local SIM data only to use whilst there - if so what is the coverage like ?
£££ is it a cashless society there or does cash rule ? If you need cash what is the best way to get it ? Out of an ATM, if so what is the best one to use I learnt many moons ago not to use teh Euronet ones due to their charges.
I have booked into the Blue Bay Hotel it look reasonable but the reviews are quite dated - has anyone stayed there recently and care to comment please
Lastly with my bad leg - depending on the amount of walking I do and the temperature (the warmer it is the less pain I get) I find it helps the pain if I go for a massage, it help eases the pain, depending on a number of factors mainly the cost I could be visiting every couple of days - does anyone have any recommendation please.
