Does the Western Europe socket adapter work in Bulgaria with US plugs? Or does it take a different adapter
Bulgaria appears to use the same type of adapter you would use for western Europe - here: https://www.power-plugs-sockets.com/bulgaria/
Thank you, I thought so but always worth a check before hand
Definitely the same as in Italy, etc.
Just be aware that there is something out there called a Euro Plug. Its a non-grounded version of the Type F "Schuko". Plug. Besides not being grounded they have a tenancy to fall out of the plug because the are small and square and arent well supported by the outlet. They look like this: https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/european-power-adapter I leant a cheap version of one of these to an acquaintance once and the plastic housing fell off and he got quite a shock. Also remember, but I bet you know, you can only use equipment rated for 230v 50hz. Anything else will get fried.
Thanks James for the info, yes I am aware of the higher voltage, question are you saying the plug at the Rick S store is the one to be aware of?
The proper one is round, fits snugly and securely in the outlet and has a ground tab on it. I carry around a handful of these

Thank you, they would be handy for my 3 prong plugs
