Looking for a moderate range hotel for multiple nights.
Any recommendations?
Thx in advance.
No replies yet, so I'll go first.
We have a balcony room booked at Concorde Old Bucharest Hotel, right in the old town, in September this year. 2 people, E100 per night with breakfast. It gets a 9.2 rating on booking.com. Here's a link directly to the hotel website: http://www.hotelconcorde.ro
I'm thinking that posting your question in the Romania forum might bring more responses ; )
I stayed in one of the big business hotels downtown when I was there (and it's been 10 years), so I don't have anything to offer that's helpful!!
There's a Romania forum?
I think the Webmaster should get on that!
OAT uses the Ramada Plaza Bucharest. Not central - northern - maybe not what you need, check its map.
We arrived a day early (in July 2017) to get thru the jet lag, & paid E130 for that nt. It's a conference center hotel, standard/global style rooms, big buffet breakfast. Easy walking distance to green spaces of Lake Herastrau & the National Village Museum, lovely open-air collection of 18th & 19th c. wooden houses, churches, crafts.
Once the tour began we were bussed everywhere, so can't speak to public transit.
We have stayed at the Rembrandt a few times and will again when we return. I like the location and its very nice: http://rembrandt.ro/
