We're driving a rental car (enterprise) from Sofia airport to Plovdiv and back on the A1 motorway in daytime. Any advice or warnings about that stretch? Are there slower speed zones through any towns (possible speed traps)? I know it's only about 90 miles, but are there any worthwhile places we should stop along that road? We're visiting some of my wife's cousins in Plovdiv.
