Sale Prices same In Store

Does anybody know if the advertised sale prices on line at RS are the same in the travel center/store? I want the Portugal guidebook and was thinking of going to Edmonds. Don’t need anything else so won’t qualify for free shipping ($50 minimum)

Check Amazon if you are looking for a discount, but you'd need to reach $25 for free shipping, unless you are a Prime member. I don't live nearby the RS store, but if I did live within driving distance, I think it would be fun to go.

Yes, our in-person shoppers on Saturdays will receive the same sale prices.

Thanks for the suggestions and responses. I had a real nice trip up North to the Travel
Center - just love the hometown vibe of Edmonds. Coming from West Seattle, it isn’t so much of a trek now that we have our bridge.

Also took a stroll on the pier by the marina to see what, if anything, was being caught and then enjoyed a quick lunch at Anthony’s overlooking the water. A lovely day … and I got some Portugal books.

Amazon also often has used travel books for sale at big discounts. Last year's guide is just about as good as the present year's guide for the most part. Heck, I've bought 8 year old city guides for $.50 at our library, and the info was still great.

Yea, I get it. I often borrow from my library first for any RS Guides but I kind of wanted to make the trek to Edmonds (only a 45 minute drive for me). And agree that the information on sites and walks, don’t change much over the years. I use the internet and this Forum for updated practical info (hours, prices, reservations, etc)
