Hi everyone, not sure if the Revolut app has been mentioned much here but I wanted to share this advice. Revolut is a British bank app that allows you to use multiple currencies. I started mine my moving USD to the app. When I was in Portugal in August, I used my Revolut app to first convert USD to EUR, then draw the EUR from the ATM. The conversion was free, the ATM withdrawal is charged 2% by Revolut. That's all I saw. Did the same in London in November (GBP of course). I don't work for Revolut, but my friend in Ireland turned me on to it.
I use Revolut frequently (as well as Wise) and find if very useful. Having said that, it's worth checking their rates. At the moment if I transfer 100 SGD to the UK I get £57.30 with Revolut or £57.10 with my bank, and neither charge a transfer fee. And I can hold multiple currencies in both accounts.
