I got an email from Premier Inn this morning saying that they were having a special promotion period. If you book no later than May 18 by midnight (GMT), they are offering free breakfast to all members of your group. It applies to all stays between May 29 and August 27, 2026.

I literally booked one yesterday! Could have saved myself £24. Nevermind. I don’t remember PI ever running a promo like this before. I think travel is being badly hit my the geopolitical situation. Trainline.com reports a drop in demand for train tickets across Europe.
Trainline might be down because they have an international clientele but tonight's news in France reported that train ridership is up for this May 8th 3-day weekend due to gas prices.
Be aware that the free breakfast offer only applies to non-flex (non-refundable) bookings. Premier Inn has had this promotion many times in the past.
The time limit will be BST (British Summer Time) not GMT at this time of year.
With their upcoming closures of 200 or so Beefeater and Brewer's Fayre restaurants to convert into rooms the question is whether there will be breakfasts to actually have. Some talk they will be having "breakfast rooms" instead- but if so what kind of service level will be provided?
