Paris Pass - saving money on museums

Has anyone used the Paris Pass that includes 60+ attractions and a Paris Visite metro pass for however many days you buy the pass for? Just wondering if it is worth the money if I got a 4 day Paris Pass.

People have pointed out in the past that the Paris Pass is an overpriced bundle of things you could buy individually for less money. Look at the Paris Museum Pass instead, and add on a transit pass that works for you. (The Paris Museum Pass is included as part of the (marked-up/overpriced) Paris Pass.)

Be aware that there was a policy change on the Paris Museum Pass last year. You can now use it to enter each museum only one time. And the Louvre is now requiring each visitor to have a timed reservation; that applies to holders of the Paris Museum Pass. I think the Pompidou Centre may also require a timed reservation, but I'm not sure about that.

I noticed that the Rick Steves Paris tour includes a Paris Museum Pass and a Visite Pass (the two passes that come bundled in the Paris Pass. If you check prices online, you will find that buying the two passes separately is much cheaper than buying a Paris Pass.

When I did the Best of Paris we got a Navigo Decouverte transport pass. I was able to renew it in subsequent years. Those tours generally start on a Sunday or Monday so it works out well to have the 7-day pass.

I agree - NO on the Paris Pass and YES to Paris Museum Pass with possibly a Metro pass depending on the days of the week you are there. Otherwise for the metro, you can easily get a carnet (bundle of 10 rides) on a Navigo Easy which will likely cover you for the 4 days.
