My daughter received her new bank credit card today and I need to send it to her in Spain. Any advice on which service to use? FedEx or DHL or some other one?
TIA!! πππ
Either would do. Pick the least expensive and be sure your daughter's address is correct and has someone there to get the mailing.
Thanks! Iβll check their websites
Check price on UPS as well.
As a benchmark, USPS 3-5 day- $69.95 6-10 days $39.70
Great info. Thank you!
Unless there is a need for speed, I would use the regular mail. There is little risk to sending the card through the mail.
We got our card from USA to rural Italy in 24 hrs. I think it was sent via FedEx.I am surprised the credit card company did not send it directly to her in Spain.
BofA would not send it directly to Spain because itβs a new card not a replacement.
If it was me I would just send it by registered mail. But if you want to use some other company I'd suggest DHL. As a European company they are more likely to have a decent delivery system in Spain and less risk of your daughter having to get to some remote industrial suburb to pick it up.
I'd just send it registered mail after activating it at home, using it for a small purchase at home, and taking images of both front and back, sending her the images so she can put it on her Apple Pay/other pay and start using it immediately while waiting for the physical card. She should notify the bank it will be used overseas.
Great advice m, thank you all!!
