I have two kids (13,14) traveling with us this summer through Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. Is it worthwhile to purchase an ISIC Card? We are doing independent travel, not part of a group. Thank you.

My guess, is that it is not worth the price of the card. Your children are clearly students and will be viewed as students by others. You will note that ISIC does not allow you to see the available discounts overseas until you purchase the card. This should be a red flag to anyone.

The ISIC card is mostly for older students (mostly college). Your children are young enough that they should have no problem getting any youth discounts that may be available.
