A budget fare with Delta has given me a 6 1/2 hour layover in Orlando on the way to Heathrow from Washington DC. Any non-obvious suggestions as to how to take advantage of the situation without leaving the airport? I see conflicting reviews of The Club at MCO Lounge (might be dirty or noisy). Any places to stretch out or flop down on the carpet? Things not to try? Thanks.
MCO was always a start or end point, so really cannot help with how to kill 6 hrs.
I am curious what airline has (Toronto?)-DC-Orlando-London itinerary.
You really saving enough to be fairly compensated for your ( wasted) time?
There’s an onsite hotel. It’s outside security, but it does offer day rooms. It’s the Hyatt at Orlando Airport.

Toronto is not the start point. I'm asking for my son, who lives in Virginia and flies out of DCA, and who is on a tight budget.

Are looking at the Delta site?
When I use the Delta site for a Wash, DC to London ticket with one stop, Orlando is not a choice for the transfer point.
Depending when the trip will be, Icelandair shows good pricing and short transfer times for the DC to London route. Had that been considered as an alternative to the long layover in Orlando?
Thanks, joe32F.
The tickets are booked. The matter is out of my hands.
