For those close to a Canadian city consider departing to Europe from Canada to take advantage of the exchange rate. Today we purchased a round trip from Vancouver BC to Italy (in to Milan and out from Rome) on British Airways (with one plane change) for September travel for around $760 USD each. We used kayak.com
Hi Joe & Tami!
I'm looking for a similar flight (Vancouver to Milan and back via Rome), and I'm confused how you can purchase a round trip ticket arriving in Milan and departing Rome. Did you book two one-way flights?
Cory - you book 'open jaw'. On a website such as Expedia it may be under 'multi-city'. Saves a lot of backtracking.
Correct. It's an "open jaw" and it's treated pretty much the same way as a round trip. No penalty for flying out of a different city than you fly into in this case.
Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. Looking to do the same time, arrive in milan, and depart via Rome/Florence. Cheers!
