Several years ago I purchased eurail tickets through Rick Steves. I believe there was a discount if you bought your tickets in December. Is there something like that now? Thanks, Frank

Where are you planning on going by train? There are ways to get discounted fares directly from the rail companies, which may work for you. Eurail passes might still work for some people, especially those going long distances, but they are increasingly artifacts of how things used to be done for travel - sort of like travelers checks and making calls at a phone booth.
Again, from where do you plan on going, and to where?

It was kind of a general question. There was a time when Rick featured the December discount on his website. I may be mistaken but I think it featured him with a Santa hat.

I can picture Rick as Santa, wearing a fur trimmed moneybelt LOL!
As for if they’ll have any sale prices on Eurail Global Passes or any other train tickets, in December or any other time, maybe e-mail Rick’s company at [email protected]
