Thanks for the update. I got the email but didnt pay much attention. The $100 hotel credit will take care of the annual fee. I’ve also started paying attention to the cash back awards when you use it for various companies. I especially like the cash back ones that Kroger offers for gas and groceries occasionally. It’s like free cash!

The addition of the Global Entry/Tsa pre check credit makes this card a great deal for those who don't already have GE.

Also, no foreign transaction fee.

$120 credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry

That used to be a benefit so good to see it reinstated.

The sign up bonus (if eligible) in Chase points can be a fantastic value, an $800 or so credit, or a greater value if transferred to an airline program and redeemed for tickets.

I haven’t seen the email (or maybe I deleted without reading) so thank you!

And of course, I just renewed my GE a couple of months ago. But will check out the hotel credit and Airbnb points!

Although I am primarily an AA person due to location, I just transferred some of my Chase points to United to book a flight to Istanbul on Turkish in business for 2027. Points plus $5.

TTM, you could gift a friend or family member the GE credit by paying with your CSP card.

Thanks, Mike, I got the email as well, but I hid it away and snoozed it for a while because I didn't have time to look at it, so this is all good to know. Shoot, I might take advantage of the AppleTV subscription. I get it right now through T-Mobile, but they're charging $3 a month now since Apple raised their rates.

That's very good to know about points for Airbnb and so on. But I'm a little confused about the 3x points on gas on EV charging. Do you mean a hybrid? Or do you mean just 3x points for charging? After all, EVs don't use gas. Maybe I'm missing something here?

It means gas or charging.

$100 hotel credit (up from $50) when booking through their web site

The last time I tried to use the hotel credit (2025) the $50 was barely enough to cover the higher cost of booking through Chase Travel versus direct on my hotel's website. I tried again this week when I got the Chase benefits email. This time, booking through Chase was slightly cheaper than direct. In addition, I had a $50 promotional credit that expires next week - maybe as an enticement, because I hadn't used Chase Travel before.

The $100 hotel credit covered the annual fee, and the $50 promotional credit was a nice bonus towards my hotel night.
