We are going to be in Bosnia Herzegovina in October and, as part of our travels, we will be coming to Mostar from Prizren. I’ve spent some considerable time on line looking for ways to make this trip by bus but haven’t found anything that works really well. In some instances, schedules aren’t available yet, the departure and arrival times are too late in the day, connections are tight. I’m wondering if I should look at a private driver even though those prices seem high. I would appreciate any advice about how best to make this trip. Do I use a driver or go by bus? Would a combination of these options work well? Should we take the trip over two days and, if so, what’s the best point to stop for the night? Are there any bus companies or drivers/tour operators I should investigate?
Any information would be much appreciated.

I should have added that we would prefer to avoid Croatia, if possible.
