I would like to recommend Mohammed Al Zoba (@mo.the.guide on Instagram) as an excellent local guide in Sarajevo. He was recommended to us by Jadranka Suster (a suggested guide in the Rick Steve's Balkans travel book). I asked Mo to customize a tour that helped our family to understand the history of conflict in the region up to and including the siege of Sarajevo. Mo has a passion for history that he shares in a thoughtful way. He took us to important sites and introduced us to a veteran of the siege who shared his experiences with our family. This was a moving and meaningful tour that we will always remember. He guides tours elsewhere in Bosnia as well.
