After a month in the region, we have a free day in Sarajevo in mid-September.
We're torn between Lukomir or Travnik/Jayce. We will have a driver/tour guide.
Insights please!
(Also intrigued by some of the mountain hikes!!)

I drove from Sarajevo to Jajce and spent a night there - and stopped in Travnik for a few hours on the way. Jajce is especially unique because of the huge waterfall right below the town center. Both towns have wrecked fortresses high above the modern towns. I wouldn't call either town particularly charming, though. But it is nice to see something else in Bosnia besides Sarajevo and Mostar, which is what most tourists focus on.
Can't comment on Lukomir or any other hikes.
