Bus from Mostar to Dubrovnik

I am having trouble finding a good website that has current bus info on traveling from Mostar to Dubrovnik in mid or late August.

We are about to cancel because I am not finding concise information. I presently have two nights booked but we are considering a day trip only from Dubrovnik to Mostar if I can not plan more precisely. .

Have you looked at a Lonely Planet book? Not to worry, there ARE buses going from one place to another. All you have to do is show up at the bus station (Google a map of Mostar and find it on the map) and buy a ticket. Please consider that there are places in the world that don't have great webpages (or any webpages) for their bus system and not everything works in perfect precision. I hope that doesn't dissuade you from visiting. I didn't find taking the bus between Mostar and Dubrovnik to be particularly hard.

How are you arriving in Mostar, if not by bus? Once you arrive, just buy a return ticket right then and there. That way you'll know the schedule for the following day(s).

Some how I thought when I originally booked my trip I thought could get from Mostar to Korcula in one day. It does not look possible so we may need to do a day trip from Dubrovnik.

We were going to do a round trip from Dubrovnik to Mostar (2 nights) and back to Dubrovnik then on to Korcula same day.

I think from Mostar to Korcula in one day may be overly aggressive, unless you were going by car (that would have its own problems with the return, so I wouldn't do it). I am a big fan of Mostar, so I hope you don't skip it. It has a very different feel than Croatia. In the Balkans, you just have to go with the flow especially when you're at the mercy of a public transport schedule. I ended up going via train/bus combination and was unexpectedly transferred from a train and then onto a bus in a section where they were doing some reconstruction on the train track. My luggage ended up on a totally different bus that I was on; yet, everything worked out just fine in the end. I had no choice but to trust the folks over there, and luckily, they were very honest.

I did find a 15:00 bus ferry and a 17:00 bus ferry. That may make a connection.

Start with buscroatia.com

We just used this sites for 3 different transfers in September, it works fine. it consolidates the various bus lines available.

To get from Mostar to Korcula probably would mean taking the Mostar/Dubrovnik bus, get off at Ston, then catch the Dubrovnik/Korcula bus at Ston....assuming that connections line up. Try the Croatia bus site, maybe there is enough info there to figure it out.
