I have never read or seen any other versions of Vanity Fair. but have been watching the 2018 Prime series.
It gives me a good idea of what the time period was like including the class structure.
The acting and story line are good but I like best being given an idea of the history and the time period.
I recommend this series and version of Vanity Fair on Prime.
Thank you for the recommendation. I read Vanity Fair literally 55 years ago! If I remember correctly I did enjoy the characters and plot but it's so much better to actually see the setting on the screen. I'm guessing it's rather lush. I'll be watching.

I just finished watching Vanity Fair and yes, a lot of the sets were plush and lush.
I believe that a lot of it was filmed in London.
It was an Amazon Prime Original and I think Amazon did a good job.
I'm always pleased to see that a classic is on film and well done. Thanks again.
