Sunday, May 2, on PBS @ 3:30 Central Time: Canvasing the World; Paris, With Sean Diediker

A good TV program about Paris tomorrow (Sunday, May 2) on PBS @ 3:30 Central Time.
Canvasing the World; Paris. With Sean Diediker, a painter.
He visits Shakespeare and Company bookstore, and does a painting.
His programs are really good, and so are his paintings!
I hope those of you who are interested are able to find it on your schedule & enjoy.

I have seen it before, and the program is great.
He gives a beautiful tour of Paris before sitting down at his work table to do a gorgeous oil painting.
The focus is on the painting aspect, but he clearly adores Paris.

This program is one in a series.
Last Sunday's program was about Costa Rica.
He does a painting every episode, thus the name "Canvasing The World".

I’d seen part of that episode before, too, Rebecca. I didn’t see much of the Paris tour part, but the Shakespeare and Company part was surprising. I hadn’t known that visitors could volunteer in exchange for a place to sleep. Definitely entertaining and enlightening!

Cyn, the part that surprised me was how fabulous the painting was that he completed at the end of the program!
I never knew that about Shakespeare and Company's policy of letting volunteers sleep there, either, until I watched this program.
Paris certainly looked beautiful in his walk around the city.
