Just watched a very good, sad movie called In Her Name, or Katinka in its original French format, about a fathers relentless pursuit for justice after the murder of his daughter, based on a true story. Turns out the daughter was likely murdered by her step father in Lindau, Germany in July 1982. Her step father was a doctor in Lindau at the time. I visited Lindau that very same July 1982 and spent much time walking around the town. The suspicious nature of her death didn't come out for awhile after so my hosts didn't bring up the case, which I gather over the years would get media attention. So that really hit home, both as a father of a daughter myself, and being in the same town right about the same time this tragedy took place.
