FYI—No Rick Steves’ Europe Page-A-Day Calendar for 2025

For anyone else who has been enjoying this calendar over the years, there will not be one for 2025. I contacted the office, and they will just have the wall calendar for 2025. :-(

My daughter had a page-a-day calendar made through Social Print Studio. It has each date but it doesn’t include the day-of-the-week on the small writing, so it can be used each year. The paper is a thicker type intended to last. I am having one made. You might want to make one with your own travel photos - inspiration & wonderful memories!

Aw, bummer. I like to use the back of the previous day's page to take notes during my work day. And, of course, the photos often remind me of my travels, putting me in a good mood for said work day!

Carrie, thanks for the info. I too love the page-a-day calendar.
Now I’ll have to use something else for bookmarks, reminders, grocery lists, quick notes, recipes, etc.
I especially enjoyed the calendar because the photos came from places included in his guidebook; places we have visited.

Disappointing. I won't be buying the wall calendar as I have a 12 month write on write off calendar. I just enjoyed the page a day. Oh well.

Disappointed as well.
Such a fun start to each day!
Carrie, thanks- I’ll check out your recommendation.

Oh no! That's disappointing. I wonder why they discontinued it.

This is disappointing! My husband and I so enjoy seeing a new adventure every day, many that we’ve done and some that are on our wish list. We also gave a RS page-a-day calendar to both of our daughters who did the BOE 21-Day tour with us in 2017.

I've been searching for it! I'm really bummed. I've used this in my classroom for years. In addition to the fun pictures every day reminding me of trips I've been on or places I still have yet to see, I kept the pages and left them out for my Geometry students. They always need graph paper!!!

That's a shame. It has become a bit of a tradition for my wife to give me this calendar each year for Christmas. We don't do a lot of gifts - we both kind of get the things we want over the year, we don't need much more "stuff," and it all comes from collective money - but this was a fun nod to our travels.

I had just told her that, other than his calendar, there was no point in buying me something for the sake of buying something; she told me she could not find it anywhere. Then I found this post. As with others, I won't be buying the wall calendar as I found it too "busy." I like the daily pics because they gave me travel ideas for places I had not been to and memories of places I have been to. Maybe I can find a substitute, but I will wait until January when they slash the prices in case I pick up something I don't really like.

Hi Suburban Travelers, I could not find a good substitute.

My sister had shipping issues with the daily destinations one linked to above. So, I told her to get me this Ireland one:

I’m sure I’ll probably be tired of Ireland pictures after a few months. :-)

Maybe they’ll bring the desk calendar back for 2026. I wouldn’t even mind if they just used recycled pictures from previous calendars if it helps with the cost.

Oh no, this is devastating. I usually wait until after the New Year to buy this calendar, but it is often the highlight of each day throughout the year. Fortunately I've saved every day's page from the last three years, so I may just find a way to reuse them going forward and rotate them every three years. I can't believe I'm considering this idea, but that's how meaningful this calendar has been to me. Maybe we can come up with a community archive from prior years to share with everyone?

My stocking looks flat this year. I'm used to this calendar being wedged into it by my husband.

Thanks for the official info, I have been checking off and on for several weeks. As you all, am disappointed... :( I have had one for two years running at work and looked forward to seeing what each day had to offer. I did find something similar, "1,000 Places to See Before You Die"... I am mainly interested in Europe, but this should expand my horizons a bit.

Hope everyone enjoys the last page tomorrow. :-(

And hope this calendar comes back for 2026.
