Close to Vermeer

‘Closer to Vermeer’, a video on the Rijksmuseum website, has already been mentioned on the Forum, but I also wanted to mention and recommend ‘Close to Vermeer’, a documentary about the creation of the big exhibit. There are interviews with curators, conservators, collectors. I loved how passionate they all are about Vermeer.

I think it’s only in theaters, at least for now. Theaters of the art house variety.
