planning 3 days in Fez Morocco. As well as Andalusia Spain. Need suggestions for books to read before and during the trip. Can be fiction or non-fiction, but easy to read, or book on tape. Going in 2 weeks!
Sorry, I don't have any specific recommendations, but if you don't get a lot of suggestions on this forum I would suggest that you go to Amazon.com/books and just key in Morocco. There are a few on there (besides the travel guides) that look interesting.
EDIT the book "A House in Fez" by Suzanna Clarke looks very interesting, check it out.
I enjoyed Driving Over Lemons: An Optimist in Andalucía by Chris Stewart. I see on Goodreads that it is the first book of a series.
"Destination Unknown" by Agatha Christie. One of her later espionage novels. Been a few years since I've read it, but I remember one of the characters roaming (and getting turned around in) the medina.
Books about the destination or just general books?
