I watched the movie before my trip to Prague last fall that included an Anthropoid tour. I first ran into the topic about 10 years ago when I read Madeline Albright's quite good Prague Winter. I liked the movie quite a bit even though there were a couple of weird things in it. If I recall correctly, it is the movie with an opening scene that consists of a lantern lighter lighting the enormous lantern near Prague Castle. It's beautifully shot. I love that opening.
Excellent movie, historically quite accurate I’ve been told. I took a great WWll focused walking tour in Prague with Jason of Prague that was great and he recommended I watch the film before coming. My public library has it. You can tour the museum in Prague where the freedom fighters lost their lives. Very moving.
