Maybe she’s in paradise, taking care of other peoples’ house and working on her Online Master’s degree. Maybe she is stranded in a lot of ways, island getaway or no. At least she’s got access to information.
Some friends were rafting the Colorado River and Grand Canyon in March of last year, without access to anything electric. No Pandemic had been announced, nor health protocols. When they reached the end of their journey and reached civilization again, it was a shocking experience.
What will she have to do to get into Britain, when and if that happens?

You can't escape COVID19. Also, I have been to many islands in the Pacific, like Fiji and would get bored living there.

Cyn, your rafting story reminds me of my mother rafting down the Colorado River on THE Sept 11th.....big surprises when they came off the river
