Going to be in Whistler, British Columbia soon. I've looked at restaurants on Yelp & Trip Advisor but nothing really stood out. Whistler has a reputation for being upscale, but we are really just looking for a casual place for great food and drinks after a long day of hiking. We like pub food: wings, warm pretzels, burgers, fries...that kind of thing. Also, Italian/pizza and Mexican. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I'm sure you'll enjoy finding your own favourite spots, but here are some of mine. For breakfast, La Brasserie; for quick takeout or eat in, Peaked Pies and Crepe Montagne; for pub food, Dublin Linn Gate (there are several options near the Whistler lift); for a bit nicer, the Keg or Joe Fortes; and for a splurge, Araxis. We've found during the pandemic that they've had trouble finding staff so often restaurants were closed, but maybe situations are improving now. If you are hiking in Creekside, the Red Door Bistro was a good find.
