We are traveling with a group from the US to Victoria Falls later this month. There is much debate on what type of electric converter and/or adapter we each need as there is conflicting information on the net. Can anyone offer some insight please?
We used the same adapters that we used in South Africa. Forgive me, but I can't remember the adapter letter.
South Africa: C,S,M,N Zimbabwe: D,G Was there in June (both S. Africa and Zimbabwe.) Although the article is generally correct, various hotels/camps etc., may have different plugs etc. I took my universal charger, which generally did okay, but also got a special charger for Zimbabwe which I think was the only one which worked in our safari camp in Zimbabwe. (However, the hotel was fine and accepted several types.) However, there is variability, for example, the safari camp in S. Africa accepted general European, Zimbabwean and USB ports.
Here is my favorite resource. (A wika travel link)
