We will be returning to yvr from Germany. Our daughter will be picking us up on a Friday night. I hope to avoid making her come to the airport to pick us up.
We arrive around 7pm so i dont know if we can do the quick shuttle.
Does anyone know how much a taxi or uber would run to get us to be border?
And, which crossing would be easiest? The truck crossing? We live directly south of the aldergrove crossing.

Given the BC 'no-fault' auto law, I would not drive to YVR.
Why not just spend the night at an airport hotel and take either quick shuttle or sky train/flix bus combo the next morning? You will be tired and it will save your daughter a drive.
You should be able to get a town car for $150 - $200. Or you could just take a bus to Abbottsford and have your ride pick you up there. That would run about $30.
A modest proposal: extend your vacation by spending a night and a day in Vancouver. From the airport, take the Canada Line to Waterfront Train station and check into one of the nearby hotels. Fairmont Waterfront looks nice, but there are others nearby. Next day, tour downtown Vancouver and at 6 pm, take the Amtrak train to Bellingham.
