Trying something new-SPA!

I have an attorney friend who has been to this spa in Mexico (Rancho La Puerto) several times that she raves highly about. I have never done a “spa” vacation, but after all this Covid-19 stuff, it is sounding like a great idea for some focus on health, well-being and R&R. So I booked a week this winter. Going solo too! My mood and outlook has already improved tremendously just having a vacation “on the books”! I can’t wait!

You’ll love it! I gave myself a Spa week there for a milestone birthday and really enjoyed it. It was just me indulging myself. I met a couple of people there who do a spa week regularly. Husband is not a spa kind of guy and he was more than happy to be left alone to putter in his workshop at home and hang out with our daughter and grandkids. It was a win for everyone,

It must feel fabulous to have something booked. Can't wait to hear about it! I'm still searching for ideas...

So the wellbeing from just having a booking is already working. The spa experience is many-fold. Hope the trip is wonderful!

Won’t you have to self quarantine for 14 days when you return?
I’m not sure of the US rules, but we would have to here in Canada.

Haven’t been able to visit myself but I do know Ranch la Puerta is a spa rather than a resort- less booze fest and more yoga. Should be safe enough and hopefully things (COVID-wise) will be better by the time you go. Both countries have limited travel to essential workers and the recent enforcement of that has created hours long wait times for essential workers trying to get to work. (There are lots of people- Americans and Mexicans- who live in one side and work in the other). Have a good trip! Mine are all still in my head for now.

I love spa vacations! Right now they are way too far outside of my comfort zone, but I do look forward to them again in the future.

I don't know anything about the one you are headed to, but for curiosity sake, check out Red Mountain Spa in Utah. I have done a handful of girls trip there and it is fabulous!
