Trip to Halifax/Peggy's Cove/Lunenburg - mid August. Cancel due to flooding??

Hi, we have planned a short trip to Nova Scotia for this coming August (mid month). The plan is to spend a few days in Halifax, then drive to Peggy's Cove and on to Lunenburg for one night's stay. then back to Halifax. I have been reading about the flooding. Should we cancel? Does anyone have good information as to the local conditions?

Halifax itself was not really troubled by the storm. Parts of Bedford and Sackville were, and Kings and Hants Counties. So central Halifax and out to Peggy's Cove are A-OK, and even in the affected areas I would not expect it to affect your visit by mid-August.
