We are looking at a Gate 1 Tour of Georgia and Armenia. We love Gate 1, but would like some opinion on how safe those country are.
Armenia is a Level two, not unlike a lot of Western Europe. Its a Level 2 primarily because of the war with Azerbaijan. Georgia is a Level 1. Georgia has had its share of extended, very large and sometimes violent protests. But that sort of thing comes and goes. I would sign up for the State Department advisory notices (STEP) and watch what you get for a month or so and that might help you decide.

Would I go right now? Yea, probably. But you have no idea who I am or how smart or wise or ignorant or stupid I may be so that statement is worthless.
