I plan to visit Tanzania on July to see the migration, I had my first jab in April and will receive the second end of May, anyone interested in a joining a safari to reduce the price? I'm traveling with a local tour company.
As Tanzania hasn’t vaccinated any of its population and hasn’t published any Covid data, it is on the U.K. red list, meaning it’s not safe to travel there, even if we are vaccinated.
It’s a great country, but now isn’t the time to be visiting.
We had a safari booked for July 2020 in Kenya and Tanzania. We postponed it until this July. However, with the uncertainties or government shutdowns in Kenya and testing requirements, we postponed it again until 2022.
However, our concern was not catching COVID10, we are both health and vaccinated. Except for one day, our safari is in the bush and meeting other people will be limited to our safari guide and those at safari camps. Our concern was the governments and their shutdowns and testing requirements (making sure our test results were available prior to flying out of the country).
Frankly, not sure next year will be good, but, perhaps there is a better chance of government interference.
