This is the article... gifted. But it does not have any new information. If I were headed to Mexico tomorrow, I would not worry.. The only place affected recently that is popular with tourists is Vallarta and from what I read, things are back to normal now.

I think the website below should work to remove most paywalls and allow you to read articles for free. It works for me in most (albeit not all) cases, including NYT.
