Traveling to Marrakesh This Fall - Any Travel Tips

Hello All. Im excited to be embarking on a trip to Marrakesh this coming October 2024 - staying 6 days. I've done tons of research and set up several tours. However are there any "hidden gems" I should see and or try to experience? Thanking everyone for their insight in advance.

Absolutely watch the Hitchcock classic with Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day, The Man Who Knew Too Much. It’s begins on the way to Marrakech. She sings,” Que Sera, sera”. They eat dinner at Dar Essalem. YouTube has Jimmy Stewart learning Moroccan table manners from the. Movie. It’s a hoot. You must go to Dar Essalem yourself for dinner. It’s still the same. Sumptuous and decadent with native musicians, belly dancers even a lady that performs with a candelabra on her head. A five course meal is under $30.
Stay at a riad inside the Medina walls. Highly recommend Palais de Princesses and Spa. Splurge the $15-20 for a pick up and escort to your lodgings from the airport. It’s cheap by our standards and a relief when you first arrive. Have your lodgings address written down for immigration officers coming into the country. You need the exact address and if Wi-Fi or phone is down, that’s a problem.

Have brunch or afternoon coffee at Bacha Coffee. Be transported back to exquisite service and the world renowned coffees from around the world. The coffee menu alone is 26 pages.
Experience a serious hamam.
Splurge for a drink at a bar in the Royal Mansour.
Make sure you’re on a rooftop at sunset overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa square with a view of the Koutoubia Mosque for the last call to pray at sundown.
