Hi travelers,
I'm planning a one week (6-7 days) trip for next Spring (Spring 2027) with my adult daughter and 13 year old granddaughter. I would love suggestions on where to go, what to do, etc. that is geared to a trip a 13 year old would love (and adults would enjoy too).

I would choose a maximum of 2 locations to visit given you are in Costa Rica for only a week. It takes a long time to travel from one place to the next in Costa Rica. We traveled to Costa Rica when my son was 12 years old. The Arenal volcano region and Manuel Antonio were the biggest hits with him. Arenal has hot springs, rafting, zip-lining and good night tour options. Manuel Antonio has fantastic beaches and lots of monkeys. I recommend taking a look at the Moon travel guide to get ideas.
