I need some advice on the most hassle free way to get from Beijing Hotel to Beijing Capital Airport.
There are many options out there and my head is spinning.

Do yourself a favor and book a car thru your hotel. The comfort, convenience, and safety are worth the cost.
Taking a taxi is a life threatening experience in Beijing traffic.

I was in need of a ride FROM the airport to my Beijing Hotel in a few weeks. I did a lot of looking around and decided that since the flight is so long and I've never been to China before, I would pay the extra cost for a dedicated ride. After searching reviews and emailing a few companies, I booked my ride with chinahighlights.com. They do extensive private tours but they also do simple transfers. Great reviews on TripAdvisor. So they're charging me $25 for an airport pickup with my name on a sign. A cab outside the airport is cheaper but I've opted for simplicity on my first trip.
For a ride TO the airport like you need, I'd probably just have my hotel call me a cab but chinahighlights.com will do it as well.
