Our flight would land in Montreal at 5 pm and the flight to Quebec City is at 6 pm. Is an hour enough time to catch a flight to QC if we are arriving in Montreal from the States?

Probably, if no delays. YUL is really a very small airport. Are you on 1 ticket?

We haven't booked the ticket yet. If an hour was too short, we would look at other options. Air Canada will book it on one ticket with the hour lay over.
