My two daughters and I are staying in Heredia, Costa Rica as a base. We’re staying 3 nights in La Fortuna/Arenal at Hotel Las Flores, address, 300 metros al oeste del Cementerio. We’re not renting a car. Is it possible to take a public bus in Heredia or do we have to catch it in San Jose? Where does it leave from and how long does it take? Will it drop us off near the hotel?
From La Fortuna we’re heading over to Manuel Antonio and staying there 2 days at Hotel Manuel Antonio, address Manuel Antonio Centro Final de la carretera, frente a la Rotonda. Is it possible to get a public bus in La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio or would we have to return to Heredia or San Jose to catch a bus? How long does it take and would it drop us off near the hotel?
