Has anyone tried taking the newly completed Israeli train for Tel Aviv's Ben Gurian airport to and from Jerusalem?
Also, taking train to Netanya, small town north of Tel Aviv?
Thanks for any input. Ted

I haven't taken the new train route to Jerusalem. I just looked on google maps to see where the station is and now I understand why there were detours around that area for the last several months :-)
Use the Journey Planner for schedules. Choose a day in the coming week - day of the week you want to travel - the schedules don't change. This is a map of the lines. To go from Jerusalem to Netanya, you'd have to change trains at the airport and again in Tel Aviv, unless you take the night train from the airport. Note that sometimes you'll see "Natbag" - that is the Hebrew acronym for the airport.
Note that trains do not run on Shabbat (Friday evening, Saturday daytime) and Jewish holidays.
Great, very helpful. Ted
We lived in Netanya for a few years and rode the train to the airport often. It's an easy ride and just requires one change to a different train line. We moved home just before they finished the line to Jerusalem.
The only advice I'd give you is to download the Israel Railways app, it can be translated to English (if you don't read Hebrew) and is very helpful.
If you have more questions about Netanya I'd be happy to answer what I can.
