Even though I am supposed to be saving for my eastern Europe trip for fall 2018, I had an Alaska Airlines companion fare that was going to expire and I found some great hotel deals and so I've booked a return trip to Costa Rica for January just this morning.
I went the easy way last time...packaged tour, way overpriced. This time, I'm doing just Arenal and Manuel Antonio on my own. I'll need a private ride from San Jose to Arenal on day one as we're arriving too late for the Interbus shuttles. I'm seeing $150 for a private ride to La Fortuna/Arenal. Interbus covers our other routes Arenal to Manuel Antonio and Manuel Antonio back to the airport at about $50 each person.
I've hired private drivers upon your (collective) suggestions before and they've been just awesome. Anyone have one for Costa Rica?
