Here in Washington, the pot shops get to stay open--- barber shops are ordered to close

By the time this is over we will all look like we just got back from Woodstock

And beauty shops are closed as well. Are we going to have to go on YouTube and learn to cut our own hair? Nothing good can come of this!

They used to also say, "don't trust anyone over 40." Now that they're 70 we can't get them to leave politics.

Support mandatory retirement for ALL gov't workers!

hey hey
@janet grab your hair color now before the shelves are empty. (grecian formula, l'oreal, garnier, clairol root touch up, revlon) let's wash that gray right outta our hair.
we could all go to the pot shops, buy some weed "pakalolo", go on you tube for haircut lessons, post a video for a beauty contest for best hair cut and color.
aloha

joe,

Sounds like an ideal way to get through the current crisis. Put on your tie-dyed shirt, light one up and listen to some of the classic Woodstock tunes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqZceAQSJvc . And of course don't forget to have the appropriate wall coverings - https://images.app.goo.gl/Rs9m1uP2MWorHMjb8 .

If you'd prefer a live performance, check the Fremont area as the drummer that did that incredible solo at Woodstock lives in Seattle - https://www.seattletimes.com/entertainment/legendary-woodstock-drummer-michael-shrieve-now-plays-in-fremont/ . The story is a few years old but I imagine he's still performing.

just to get your juices flowing Joan Baez singing Sweet Sir Galahad at Woodstock, still sends shivers down my spine when I hear that song ,what a voice.

Didn't like hippies in the 60s. In some ways they won, pot is legal in several states and more people are zoned out on some other drug these days.

@KGC. The quote was by Jack Weinberg in the SF Cronical 1964 "Don't trust anyone over 30"

Yep, showing my age.

Pain or laughter?

Medical Marijuana? A plot to keep us subdued at home? Perhaps, pot is not a corona virus risk. That is, if you light one up - the burning sterilizes the stuff - hence, no virus risk. Hmmm ... I see a few research projects here.
Downside: there could be a snack shortage due to the "munchies" related to pot.
