Thailand multiple entires

Hi,

I'm going to Thailand November 1st from Los Angeles. It's going to be the beginning of a year long trip that will eventually make it's way to South America.

Has anybody gotten the multiple entry visa? I was going to go for the month than to Vietnam. After that I was thinking of going back to Thailand, but who knows I may go to the Philippines.

I'm planning on going to Brazil by February.

If anybody has any insights I'd be happy to hear them.

If you're a US citizen you don't need a visa for a 30 day stay in Thailand. You can extend for up to 90 days (I believe) for a small fee once you're in the country - it's really pretty straightforward.
