We will be arriving late in the evening at the Johannesburg Airport and plan to take a taxi to our hotel. Yes, we know to avoid the touts at the airport and to use a government authorized taxi. And Uber will not work for us because we don't have a smartphone. Does anyone know if the airport taxis accept cc's, do we need chip and pin cc's or will the swipe type of cc's work? We will obviously ask the taxi driver before we engage his services whether or not he takes cc's. I have asked this question on the TripAdvisor forum, tried to find info on the internet, etc. and I'm coming up empty. I hope someone on this forum can help. Thanks.
