Batman Bridge came up on University Challenge last night. It thought that the name was banned/to be changed.
What's the current status?

The Launceston City Council announced consultation about a name change in August 2022. Has been no update since then.
The Batman electorate in Victoria was renamed Cooper in 2018 after Indigenous activist William Cooper (1861-1941).
