South Korea Travel pass.......

I'm headed to South Korea
I'm looking into the travel cards to use and it's silly how many they have.

I've narrowed my choices down to:

  • Tmoney
  • Climate card
  • Tour card

My details
* Arrive to Seoul at ICN airport
* Hotel in city center
* Total numbers of days: 3 full days (arrive late friday night, depart early tuesday morning)
* I don't know if I'll leave the city (I'm not sure where the city ends compared to the travel card)
* I will see some attractions, but that's not only focus

Here's my questions:
1) Can all cards get me from Airport to city center (and back)
2) Do I need to purchase the cards with local cash ONLY or can I purchase them with my CC
3) is there a most economical way?
4) I heard that the Tour card "ended" last year, but I also see it being sold this year --- is it still available.

thanks for the help
I've been watching a bunch of youtube videos and I just can't lock down what I need.

I had 2 visits to S Korea in 2024. I used a TMoney card - never heard of the others.

I lived in Seoul for 4 years and have not heard of the last two cards. You will need a T money card, it's the card you'll use for all buses and subways. It did not work on the airport bus (when I was there- I left in 2019 so this may have changed) but did work on the subway to/from the airport. For the airport bus, you'll buy your ticket at the airport. Figure this out ahead of time because it can be confusing as a tourist.
You'll purchase the T-money card when you arrive.
