Safety in Tangier in 2015

It is perfectly safe in Morocco, including Tangier. We are in Morocco a couple of times a year every year. We were there in January and it is fine.

We also have no worries at all about visiting Morocco.

Morocco seems to be one of the more stable countries in that region, but it would still be prudent to have a look at the State Dept. website, and specifically the "Safety & Security" pages.

The information on the State Dept. website is much the same as that provided on the Canadian and U.K. government websites.

We took a fast ferry (35 min) from S Spain last Sept and stayed 2 nights - no worries.
